Mark Your Calendar - December 5 - 7, 2013
Northern Indiana Biblical Drama Association in cooperation with Das Dutchman Essenhaus will present The Father. With a strong Christian cast, this Bible-based dramatic performance is scheduled to be held just prior to Christmas.
Let us take you back to the time of the birth of Christ. In a time where man's law was greatly enforced and heavily influenced by the synagogue, watch as a simple carpenter named Joseph endures conflict as he steers his family to safety like no other Biblical man before. God found favor in Joseph and gave him the greatest honor of all time...raising our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Witness the challenges and moral dilemmas Joseph and Mary faced and watch as the nativity story unfolds through a modern day perspective...or is it?
With a cast of local members, the actors will offer four different performance times over three days; Thursday, December 5th, (7pm), Friday, December 6th (7pm), and Saturday, December 7th (2pm & 7pm).
The productions will be held at Essenhaus Heritage Hall located directly across Wayne Street from the main Essenhaus campus. Ticket prices have been established; $18.00 advance ticket purchase, $20.00 at the door, $16.00 per person for groups of nine or more individuals and $14.00 for children twelve years of age and under.
