Directed by Kevin Eyer, the action of this play occurs in "Pap's Place", which is part of his home. The comedy-drama was written by Paul McCusker, director, writer and producer of the Adventures in Odyssey radio series for "Focus on the Family". There are seven characters that appear on stage and other characters are referred to in the play dialogue.
Join us for this memorable performance that deals with a son and his family who must decide what to do with 80-year-old Pap whose strength may be failing, but whose mind is as sharp as the proverbial tack. Humor and sentiments are nicely combined in this two-act play. The captivating local cast with laugh and cry their way through life's struggles.
Nine different performance times will be offered over a four-week period in August; every Tuesday and Friday evenings at 7pm beginning Friday, August 1st and running through Friday, August 29th. The productions are produced by special arrangement will Lillenas Publishing Company, and will be held at Essenhaus Heritage Hall located directly across Wayne Street from the main Essenhaus campus.
