July Jubilee Planned for Week of July 5th at Das Dutchman Essenhaus
MIDDLEBURY – The Essenhaus Village Shops will host a week-long celebration at the Essenhaus campus in Middlebury, Indiana with special events and activities planned each day.
Monday, July 5: Irvin Hoover, still life photographer and tinsmith visits the restaurant building from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm and again from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Mr. Hoover will be in the family-style dining lobby to conduct an autograph session, answer questions and discuss his experiences during his visit.
Tuesday, July 6: Dan Thornhill, creator of hand-made jewelry and spoon rings, is scheduled to visit The ClothesLine from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm to discuss the return of this vintage jewelry.
Wednesday, July 7: Zany Bandz, stretchy animal shaped bracelets that children can wear, share or collect are a hot new trend. A Zany Bandz free giveaway will take place from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm on the 2nd floor of the restaurant building while supplies last!
Thursday, July 8: Popular and stylish quilted handbags for over two decades, the 2010 Vera Bradley fall pattern debut will take place at the Corn Crib and Cabin from 9:00 am until 8:00 pm.
Friday, July 9: Bauble Lu Lu Beads are colorful beads that can be quickly and easily interchanged to compliment a variety of wardrobe styles and colors.
These events run in conjunction with the Red, White & Blue sale where items are marked with a coordinating color sticker and discounted anywhere from ten to thirty percent.
