MIDDLEBURY – The campus of Das Dutchman Essenhaus will be the host site of an all-gauge train show Saturday, February 19, 2011. Beginning at 9:30 am until 3:00 pm, collectors, enthusiasts, and anyone interested in trains is invited to attend this event. The event will be held on the second floor of the restaurant building, in the conference center and will also include special displays and children’s craft areas in the shops. The main campus is located at 240 U.S. 20 Middlebury, Indiana.
Vendors will be showcased and train repair, sales, and trading will be taking place throughout the day. Potential vendors may call 574-825-0052 Monday through Friday from 8:00 am until 4:00 pm to secure table space for their wares. Guests will enjoy browsing through the displays and speaking with fellow collectors. New Buffalo, Michigan, resident, author and ‘I Love Toy Trains’ video producer, Tom McComas, will be on-site to meet guests and introduce his newest video.
Seven functional and operating displays will be available to view. New to the 2011 Train Show will be clinics and workshops and a complimentary shuttle service that will transfer guests from the restaurant to the conference center and Essenhaus Village Shops. Admission fees have been established at $3.00 per person or $6.00 per family with children 7 and under admitted at no charge.
