Toy Show Announced!

MIDDLEBURY - The campus of Das Dutchman Essenhaus announces the second annual Toy Show on Saturday, January 21, 2012. Beginning at 9:30 am until 3:00 pm, collectors, enthusiasts and anyone interested in toys is invited to attend this event. The event will be held in the restaurant building and will include two operating train displays for viewing. The main campus is located at 240 U.S. 20 Middlebury, Indiana.
A variety of vendors will be showcased throughout the day. Collections of die-cast toys, dolls, vintage games, trucks, action figures, miniatures and tractors will be featured at this event. Potential vendors may call 574-825-0052 Monday through Friday from 8:00 am until 4:00 pm to secure table space for their wares. Guests will enjoy browsing through the displays and speaking with fellow toy collectors and enthusiasts.
New to the 2012 Toy Show will be a Matchbox (tm) car racing tournament. Children of all ages are invited to bring their unaltered Matchbox (tm) race cars and try their luck against others on our challenging course. Races will be held at 10:00 am, noon and 2:00 pm. Various prizes will be awarded to the winners.
Admission fees have been established at $3.00 per person or $6.00 per family with children 7 and under admitted at no charge. Additional information regarding Das Dutchman Essenhaus can be obtained by calling 800-455-9471.
