Mark Your Calendar - July 9, 12 & 13, 2013
MIDDLEBURY, IN - Northern Indiana Biblical Drama Association in cooperation with Das Dutchman Essenhaus will present Herodible Comedy. With a strong local cast of characters, this Bible-based comedic performance is scheduled to be held in July.
Taking a look back through history, there are many lessons to be learned and King Herod can teach us many. Known for the dynasty he built, King Herod also taught us how to laugh, as he was one of the most "Herodible" characters ever to walk the earth. The cast will take us on a journey back through time and the audience will laugh a little and experience how lives can be changed by a simple act of being selfless instead of being "Herodible".
The NIBDA cast will offer four different performances over three days; Tuesday, July 9th (7pm), Friday, July 12th (7pm) and Saturday, July 13th (2pm and 7pm).
The productions will be held at Essenhaus Heritage Hall located directly across Wayne Street from the main Essenhaus campus. The cast of local northern Indiana residents will interpret various scenes that will also include several vocal selections. Dania Cuerto, President of NIBDA, stated, "...with this comedy, you will learn the lesson of greed through laughter."
Ticket prices have been established; $18.00 advance ticket purchase, $20.00 at the door, $16.00 per person for groups of nine or more individuals and $14.00 for children up to twelve years of age.
